How I compute – A “round” up

A 'round' up

This article is simply to bring together the 5 recent posts I’ve made about important ways to compute.  There’s nothing new here, just a listing of the the articles and a summary of each:

  1. Security: the most essential of all the articles to rid your PC of the demons lurking in the background.
  2. Web Browsing: you spend most of your time on your computer, online, so better to choose the best tool for the job.
  3. Tackle the bloat: as you use your PC, it gets slower and heavier due to all sorts of bloat.  If you want to spruce it up a bit, follow this article.
  4. E-books and the Amazon Kindle: e-books, pdfs, and online publications of all sorts are increasingly common, so while this isn’t essential, it’s a great way to organise all those documents.
  5. Ooops! I did it again: for those who find it a challenge to maintain regular backups of their stuff, this is for you.

If there are any particular aspects about your PC that you would like to know about, please feel free to leave some feedback in the comments section below.  I hope this has been a useful series, and I may add to it in the future, so watch this space!
